Mowgli is a man cub who is raised by a wolf pack. He is the protagonist of the jungle book stories written by Rudyard Kipling. The stories tell of the enmity between Mowgli and the tiger Shere Khan, who killed Mowgli`s parents, and of the friendship between the man-cub and Bagheera, the black panther, and Baloo, the sleepy brown bear, who instruct Mowgli in the Laws of the jungle.

Winnie from Winnie-the-Pooh Stories

A Canadian lieutenant once bought a bear from a hunter and named it Winnie. He subsequently donated it to London zoo, where A.A.Milne often saw it. Since Milne liked the bear very much, he presented his son - Christopher Robbins - with  toy bear known as Winnie - the - pooh.  As you all know Milne was the author of Winnie - the - Pooh stories.

Our school has a house named after this most loved character. The house teachers and students recreated all the important characters of Winnie stories. Seeing the tiny tots as world favourite characters was really an eye feast.
